Our Team

Guardian of the Children was founded by a team of well-rounded individuals with a passion for making the world a better place. The founders are great believers of the bottom-up approach where the wellness of people at the grass root level determines the wellness of the community, the society, the nation and the world.

By empowering needy children at the community level, we make life better for generations to come. The founders include:

  • Rajiv Mahajan
    Rajiv is an accountant by profession residing in Columbia DC. He was born and raised in India and has been in the front line in giving back to the community.
  • Vijay
  • Rachel 
    Rachel is the founder of Ganger Valley School, which recently merged with the Guardian of the children. She is an educator with a passion for helping needy children.
  • Shalini Gupta
    Shalini is also an accountant by profession. She is passionate advocate for the helpless and a mentor to many young people.
